bringing hope to communities affected by natural disasters

U.S. Airlift Command - Providing Relief During Loss and Displacements

USAC’s core mission is to deliver timely and impactful disaster relief through the strategic                       deployment of aviation resources.

Natural disasters can happen quickly, and sometimes unexpectedly, like Hurricane Helene that devastated the communities of western North Carolina in the fall of 2024. As the country watched, volunteers from within NC and neighboring states sprung into action to provide immediate assistance to those communities that were isolated and in dire circumstances.
